Golden Turmeric Healing Bowl
A warming, anti-inflammatory bowl with turmeric, ginger, and cruciferous vegetables for cellular healing.
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa, cooked
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh turmeric, grated
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Cook quinoa according to package directions and set aside.
- Steam broccoli florets for 4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Warm olive oil in a small pan. Add turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Whisk tahini with lemon juice and 2 tbsp warm water until smooth.
- Divide quinoa between two bowls. Top with broccoli, cabbage, and carrot.
- Drizzle with the turmeric oil and tahini dressing. Season with sea salt.

Turmeric is shown in research to have anti-inflammatory properties. Pair with black pepper to boost absorption.
